Film Noir

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create one of those great classic Film Noir title cards from the 30s and 40s. Here is the psd file and other associated images for you to download to do this tutorial. The fabric texture and the Montgomery font. Note the Film Noir video uses 3D in Photoshop CS6 Extended.

Some important notes regarding 3D. 1) 3D is only available in the EXTENDED versions of Photoshop CS5 and beyond. 2) Windows XP does NOT support 3D. 3) Other operating systems may require the latest Service Pack update. 4) Some video (graphics) cards may not be powerful enough to drive 3D & other GPU-accelerated tasks in Photoshop. In those cases, GPU acceleration will be automatically turned off by Photoshop. 5) Graphics processors may need to be enabled.  Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance > "Use Graphics Processor" box should be checked and 6) 3D does not work on 32-bit operating systems.
